Waterjet

The machine that cuts virtually anything.

JMCo is delighted to introduce Jersey’s first and only waterjet CNC machine.

Our waterjet is a Flow Mach 200 which is unmatched in accuracy and speed, making it our most productive solution for cutting complex shapes and particularly hard materials. The system is revolutionary in terms of reliability and productivity, backed by the only comprehensive service program in waterjet technology.

With Pivot+ Waterjet the Mach 200 allows JMCo to confidently take on more advanced applications. The compact cutting head uses a simplified, low- profile, design to deliver 5-axis cutting with taper control.

Cutting with a waterjet produces a smooth edge with no burn marks, cracking or excess burrs. In addition, since waterjet is a cold cutting method, there are no heat-affected zones.

We use our waterjet on stone slabs including the hard to cut Dekton slabs on a day to day basis but we have also cut bespoke mechanical parts out of aluminium plate for clients.

An additional service we can now provide is stone inlay flooring, to almost any bespoke design. Stone inlay flooring is when pieces of stone or tile are cut into precise requirements creating a unique piece of art within your floor. Image examples to the right.

We can cut to a precise CAD design on a number of materials listed below:

Granite, Marble, Leather, Tile, Glass and Wood.

Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Tool Steel, Titanium, Aluminium, Brass and Copper.

Carbon Fibre, Feroform, Fibreglass, AeroFibre, Kevlar and G10.

Foam, Linoleum Tile, Plexiglass, Polycarbonate and Acrylic.

Cutting material exceptions are diamonds and toughened glass.

Water management system.

We recycle our wastewater using a Dal Prete water management system, this is a highly efficient, automatic and compact water treatment plant, that removes the sludge and grit from the wastewater, turning it back into clean water to be used again in the factory process.

We have been educating future engineers.

St Michaels School engineering students came along to a private showcase of the WaterJet in action. They were inspired and had many questions during their visit.

We cut a car model to give to each of the students as a souvenir.
